Pinzgauer of the New Zealand Army (photo : NZDF)The New Zealand government has approved the purchase of a second tranche of 133 Pinzgauer light operational vehicles (LOVs), 60 of which will be the newly developed armoured variant.
Following the order for 188 Pinzgauer LOVs placed in March, this latest order brings to 321 the number of vehicles on order from Automotive Technik of the UK to replace the New Zealand Defence Force's current Land Rover fleet.
