An Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV) assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Battalion Landing Team (BLT) 2/3 drives off the stern gate of Fort McHenry during Exercise Reception, Staging, Onward movement and Integration (RSOI) and Foal Eagle. RSOI and Foal Eagle are a combined exercise involving forces from the United States and the Republic of Korea to enhance training opportunities and teach, coach and mentor service members, while exercising senior leaders decision-making capabilities.
