Night Flight Training for Su-30MK2V Fighter

The First Images of the Kilo Submarine for Vietnam Navy

Forum airbase.ru of Russia has published the first images of Kilo class diesel-electric submarines of Project 636.1. This is the first submarine of six Kilo submarines shipbuilding contract for a customer in South East Asia.

Presiden dan Menhan Vietnam Temui Pemimpin Militer China

HANOI-(IDB) : Presiden Vietnam Truong Tan Sang kemarin sore (3/9) mengadakan pertemuan dengan Wakil Kepala Staf Umum Tentara Pembebasan Rakyat Tiongkok Ma Xiaotian yang menghadiri konsultasi pertahanan dan keamanan Tiongkok-Vietnam ke-6 di Hanoi. Pada kesempatan itu, kedua pihak telah mengadakan pembicaraan bersahabat mengenai hubungan bilateral.

Truong Tan Sang dalam pertemuan itu mengatakan, pemimpin Vietnam sangat mendukung kerja sama antara tentara kedua pihak. Vietnam selalu berpendapat bahwa Tiongkok yang berkembang mantap menguntungkan perkembangan dan kestabilan Vitenam maupun kawasan.

Ma Xiaotian menyatakan perlunya melihat perselisihan dewasa ini sacara benar, dan mengontrol krisis sacara efektif. Tiongkok berharap tentara kedua negara dapat menambah saling pengertian, meningkatkan saling percaya, dan mendorong kerja sama, menambah faktor positif bagi kemajuan hubungan kedua negara untuk memelihara situasi keseluruhan hubungan kedua negara.

Kemarin sore, Menteri Pertahanan Vietnam Phung Quang Thanh bertukar pandangan dengan Wakil Kepala Staf Umum Ma Xiaotian mengenai hubungan kedua negara dan kedua tentara serta masalah-masalah yang menjadi perhatian bersama.

Phung Quang Thanh menilai tinggi hasil yang dicapai konsultasi pertahanan dan keamanan Tiongkok-Vietnam kali ini. Ia mengharapkan tentara kedua Negara terus meningkatkan komunikasi dan kerja sama di bidang pelatihan personil, kontak pertahanan perbatasan, komunikasi angkatan laut dan lain lain.

Ma Xiaotian mengatakan bahwa hubungan militer adalah bagian penting dari hubungan kedua negara. Kedua pihak harus berupaya lebih banyak melakukan hal-hal yang menguntungkan kemajuan hubungan kedua negara. Diharapkan pula agar kedua pihak meningkatkan saling percaya, mengendalikan krisis, berusaha menjaga dan mendorong hubungan kedua negara agar berkembang sehat dan stabil.

Airbus Military Ferries First C212 to Vietnam Marine Police

Airbus Military has delivered to Vietnam the first of three C212-400 maritime patrol aircraft ordered by the Vietnam Marine Police.

The aircraft, manufactured in Seville, Spain was handed over at Gia Lam (Hanoi) at the end of a 10-day ferry flight from Skavsta, Sweden following installation of its mission system. It was formally delivered last year prior to the conversion work in Sweden.

The flight, commanded by ferry pilot Capt Alejandro Grande supported by two co-pilots, two flight engineers and a technical representative, staged through: Kosice, Slovakia; Sitia, Greece; Luxor, Egypt; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Muscat, Oman; Ahmedabad and Kolkata, India;and Chiang Mai, Thailand; en route to Hanoi.

The three aircraft will be used for a range of missions including coastal patrol, search and rescue, anti-pollution operations, and law enforcement against smuggling of goods or people.

A second aircraft is under conversion in Sweden and the third will be transferred from Seville by the end of the year.

A total of 478 C212s have been ordered by operators in 42 countries worldwide.

Russia to Sell 18 Su-30K for Vietnam

Belvpo Russian newspaper cited sources from the defense industry consortium, said Russia does not want to sell 18 Su-30K used aircraft for Belarus.

Instead of providing the Su-30K for its ally Belarus, Rosoboronexport leadership has decided to sell them to Vietnam.

All 18 Su-30K aircraft Indian Air Force has been using for 10 years then returned to Russia to replace the Su-30MKI aircraft with more modern.

However, this aircraft was transferred to the plant No. 558 in Belarus to repair and upgrade then resold to third parties without bringing back to Russia to avoid import duties of customs.

Each has been much speculation about the fate of 18 Su-30K and its destinations. There are reports that Belarus would like to buy the whole lot this plane, and that Russia does not extend credit to them (Belarus) to purchase the Group's Irkut aircraft.

Meanwhile, Vietnam has sent military delegations to several flight tests and offered to buy back.

JKGR-(IDB) : Para pegawai galangan kapal Admiralty Rusia terus bekerja untuk merampungkan kapal selam Project 636M (Kilo Class) pesanan Vietnam. Mereka pun mulai memasang sistem persenjataan, termasuk rudal Anti Kapal Selam (AKS) Klub-S yang memiliki jangkauan hingga 300 km. “Kami telah memasang peralatan baru untuk memebuat kapal selam ini menjadi yang terbaik di harga 3 milyar rubel”, ujar teknisi galangan kapal Admiralty, Roman Trotsenko.

Kapal selam Project 636 didisain untuk menghancurkan kapal selam, kapal permukaan, melindungi garis pantai, reconnaissance dan data link (Komunikasi). Untuk mendapatkan kemampuan tempur yang handal, mesin diesel electic-nya berhasil dibuat senyap dan bahkan salah satu kapal selam tersenyap di dunia. Rusia pun memasang sistem manajemen informasi dan navigasi terbaru, serta meningkatkan kemampuan sonar dalam menjejak target.

Kemampuan kapal selam yang pernah diincar Indonesia ini menjadi sempurna dengan dipasangnya 4 rudal powerfull supersonic 3M-54 Klub-S (SS-N-27), ditambah 18 torpedo terbaru, serta 24 ranjau.

Rudal buatan Novator Design Bureau ini, baru digunakan oleh tiga negara: Rusia, India dan Vietnam.

Rudal ini memiliki panjang 8 meter dengan berat 2 ton dan terbang 10 meter dari permukaan air untuk mengindari radar. Setelah ditembakkan dari kapal selam, rudal Klub-S akan terbang rendah dengan kecepatan subsonic 0,8 mach.

Memasuki phase midcourse, kecepatan berubah menjadi supersonic 2,5 mach. Ketika target sudah dekat rudal ini melakukan “sprint” dengan cara menghidupkan mesin turbojet untuk menambah kecepatannya menjadi 2,9 mach.

Tujuannya untuk mengurangi kesempatan kapal musuh menghindar dari sergapan. Sudut serangannya pun (angle) sulit diantisipasi. Rudal Klub-S didisain khusus untuk kapal selam. Sementara untuk sasaran kapal permukaan Novator Design Bureau menamainya Klub-N.

Kapal selam Project 636M (Kilo Class) merupakan generasi ketiga dari Project 877 dan 877 EKM. Vietnam memesan 6 kapal dan 2 diantaranya telah dikerjakan sejak Juli 2011.

Setelah lolos seluruh ujicoba, kapal selam pertama akan diserahkan kepada Vietnam tahun 2013. Rusia menargetkan untuk menyerahkan satu kapal setiap tahun hingga tahun 2018.

Galangan kapal Admiralty memiliki nama besar di Rusia karena telah membangun ribuan kapal Rusia selama 300 tahun. “Kami paham benar, bagaimana cara membuat kapal selam yang bagus dan ilmu itu tidak bisa anda pelajari dalam waktu cepat”, tambah Trotsenko.

“Kontrak itu meliputi pembelian 33 rudal anti kapal 3M24 EMB/ Kh-35E, disertai dengan 8 misil ujicoba/ latihan”, ujar Direktur Corporation tactical missile system (KTRV), Boris Obonosov.

Masing-masing frigate Gepard 3.9 Vietnam mengusung 8 rudal KH-35E ditambah lagi dengan 4 × 533 mm torpedo tubes (two twin launchers).

Untuk menangkal serangan udara, frigat Gepard dilengkapi 1 × Osa-M Surface-to-Air missile system (one twin launcher, 20 SA-N-4 Gecko missiles), serta close-in weapon system (CIWS) Palma 2 × 6-barreled 30 mm point-defense guns (2,000-round magazine for each).

Kapal perang ini dilengkapi helikopter Kamov Ka-28 atau Ka-31 Helix serta 20 Ranjau Laut.

Frigate berkapasitas 98 penumpang ini memiliki panjang 102 meter dan lebar 13 m. Dengan bobot 1500 ton (kosong dan 1930 (penuh), kapal ini melaju dengan kecepatan maksimal 28 knot.

Frigate ini mampu menempuh jarak 7000 km selama 15 hari tanpa berhenti, dengan kecepatan 10 knot atau 19 km/jam.

Dua frigate yang kini dimiliki Vietnam merupakan generasi frigate paling mutakhir dari Gepard Zelenodolsk.

Galangan kapal Gorki Russian Zelenodolsk membutuhkan waktu 2,5 tahun untuk membuat “sample” kapal, hingga diaktifkan menjadi Project 11661.

Frigate Gepard 3.9 Q-011 Dinh Tien Hoang dibuat Galangan Kapal Gorki Russian Zelenodolsk untuk: memburu, menjejak dan menghancurkan kapal permukaan.

Gepard Vietnam ini juga mampu menangani pesawat terbang, kapal selam, escort serta patroli melindungi batas-batas zona ekonomi maritim.

Gepard Class didisain untuk bertempur secara mandiri maupun bagian dari gugus tugas. Ia didukung teknologi siluman sehingga menyulitkan pendeteksian radar oleh lawan.

Frigate HQ-011 Dinh Tien Hoang diluncurkan 12 Desember 2011 dengan nama Kaisar Pertama Vietnam “Dinh Tien Hoang” yang melawan penjajahan Dinasti Han China dan pendiri pemerintahan administratif di Vietnam.

Kini Vietnam telah memiliki 2 frigat Gepard 3.9 dan menandatangani tambahan pembelian 2 frigat gepard 5.3.

“Dua frigate terbaru ini (Gepard 5.3) akan dilengkapi peluru kendali modern dan anti-kapal selam terkini militer Rusia.

Kami tidak akan ragu-ragu untuk menjual senjata dan teknologi militer Rusia ke negara bersahabat. India saja, kami pinjamkan kapal selam nuklir”, ujar Direktur Zelenodolsk Gorky, Renat Mistakhov.

In 2012, the 929th Fighter Regiment (372 Division) has restored the operations of night flight training after 3 years stopped.
